

Frequency Enterprise LLC is searching for a qualified electrician.
Required Qualifications:

Must possess at least 5 years of recent (within the past 7 years) experience in the operation and maintenance of equipment and systems.

Must possess and maintain all required registrations, certifications and licenses required by the District of Columbia- to include minimum Journeyman's license.

Must meet the qualification requirements of the American National standards Institute/International Electrical Testing Association ETT-2000.

Must possess Standard for Certification of Electrical Testing Technicians and hold at least a Level 3 or 4.

Understands hazardous electrical energy control procedures.

Must posses, or be able to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
-
Perform a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy; work independently
-
Tasks involve installing or repairing a variety fo electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems or other transmission equipment.

Shall work from blueprints, drawings, layouts or other specifications by locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment.

Test, inspect, clean, repair, dismantle, adjust and replace all electrical equipment, transformers, switchgear, control panels, regulators, and various other electric apparatus which include high and low voltage switchgear, distribution systems, alarm systems, and UPS systems, as assigned.

Perform preventative maintenance, repair or replacement of electrical equipment on AC or DC systems and circuits

Correct system failures, perform complex tests/calibrations, maintain protective devices, and interacts with Engineers and Managers.

Prepare and maintain records and reports on electrical utility equipment, as required for maintenance programs on the basis of all information obtained through tests and preventative maintenance procedures; take corrective action, as required.

Perform protective inspection during facility additions or repairs so as to ensure safe and continuous operation of electrical utilities systems and equipment, as required.

Operate machines and power tools, erect scaffolds, perform rigging as required.

Install conduit, piping, wiring, and apparatus for maintenance of electrical utilities, systems (high & low voltage) and equipment and/or modification, rearrangement or substitution of existing equipment with new or old apparatus.

Work on power lines for the isolation or grounding of circuits, maintenance, and troubleshooting demands to maintain operations.

Observe all safety practices, procedures and directives; ensure notification when shutting off power that would affect the site
